2026 THE YEAR OF THE HORSE!
I love to paint the Chinese zodiac animal of the year and the horse was so fun for me as a life long Oklahoman! I saw a photo of horses running and decided to add my special circles to create interest and mystery. This 48×48” original painting is available as well as a giclee reproduction on canvas.

Slow and Steady is a mantra in my head these days as I look to the future of my small business. I want it to be one that blesses me and the community. In my third year as a full time artist/gallery owner I realize the never ending and sometimes chaotic pace of the last 3 years is not sustainable. It’s time to focus, take one intentional step at a time and down shift from hyper drive. My clients have shared my work, invited their friends and blessed my socks off these last 3 years and now I feel a great business base has been established and I look forward to the future!

She was an advocate for those in the Oklahoma penal system wanting to improve their lives and reclaim their families. She helped countless women recover, heal and receive freedom for their souls and accept the goodness of Christ. Her crystal clear blue eye sees the fruit of her time here. She is and always was a wild kind of beautiful, untamed and tremendously alive. The 36×48” original is available as well as a canvas giclee, or a 16×20” print on paper.

Daisies were my mom’s favorite and I’ve always kept daisies in my garden in her honor. I’m 55 now which is the age she passed. I’m living each day this year for her and with her. On my birthday a hummingbird appeared in the garden. This is not an everyday occurrence for me! Another one appeared when all my family was gathered a few weeks later. I’m accepting these visitations as messengers from her of her guidance and presence.

Hope is Alive! This series was created in the Summer of 2025. I had a weekend to myself and spent days in the studio looking through paintings and paint palettes that I had saved and combined them with my beautiful hand made marbled papers. I wanted to play and try new things. I gave myself the freedom to use different mediums, make mistakes and create without expectation. Here is the result! I’m so proud of each one and the connection they have to my growth and creative process. Some of the papers and paintings I used were 30 years old! I just couldn’t throw these things away! These bits and pieces from the past were brought into the future, reframed and newly appreciated. I love the symbolism is this! Hope is Alive!

The cover has a hidden zipper, and can be removed to wash. The down inserts are 20”×54 “and were custom made and stuffed by me! They have the equivalent of 3 king size bed pillows of down and a bit of batting to add shape. The insert also has a zipper and you can add more down or remove some to suit your needs. These look great on a couch, bed or bench!

This custom sticker is designed with my Oklahoma MahJong Friends in mind! I have 10 designs to choose from and I will add your initials to the completed sticker. When you check out please write your initials IN THE ORDER YOU WANT THEM TO APPEAR in the message box offered. Most people want their last initial in the middle of the monogram. So my monogram is KSL since my last name is Sanders.

2026 THE YEAR OF THE HORSE!
I love to paint the Chinese zodiac animal of the year and the horse was so fun for me as a life long Oklahoman! I saw a photo of horses running and decided to add my special circles to create interest and mystery. This 48×48” original painting is available as well as a giclee reproduction on canvas in my paintings section. The Paper prints are 16×16” and 12×12” on glossy fine art paper. Daisies were my mom’s favorite. I’ve always kept daisies in my garden in her honor. I’m 55 now which is the age she was when she passed and I made a commitment to live each day this year for her and with her. On my birthday a hummingbird visited my patio. I paid close attention. When all my girls were visiting the house a few weeks later it came back. I’m taking its presence as a sign of hers.

She helped countless women recover, heal and receive freedom for their souls and accept the goodness of Christ. Her crystal clear blue eye sees the fruit of her time here. A fun playdate with friend and neighboring artist Sara Kay Michaels led to this exuberant mixed media piece created with acrylic and pastels. The piece is much softer than my usual pieces because of the fuzzy chalk marks! The original has sold, but reproductions are offered on paper or on canvas.

On a recent trip to Kansas, I was blown away with the beautiful sunflower fields! I was inspired to include them in my latest piece. I’ve been pushing the boundaries between the bright floral backgrounds I love and the animal subjects I choose. In my latest pieces the flowers are spilling over into the animal’s bodies creating a tattooed look. This elephant painting is my number one favorite theme of mother and child. I sang “you are my sunshine” to my babies and the song perfectly captures the emotion of this maternal love. The reproduction is 8×10” on fine art paper. It is signed and numbered and ready to mat and frame.
Imagine my surprise when I cast my cares on Jesus and he chewed them up and blew this huge bubble! This one of a kind experience energized my imagination and led to this happy piece with bubbalicious curlicues radiating out hope, humor and enthusiasm for Plan B.

This is such a different piece for me! I absolutely love the brown table coverings I use under my painting station. The drips and splats create such unique abstract marks. I have been saving these papers in my drawers for years as I just can’t bear to throw them away! I have such trouble painting in an abstract style, my mind creates images out of the abstract, so its super fun to use these random abstract marks to push me to be more loose and playful. This special piece is about overcoming obstacles.The piece was inspired by a dreamer who came to America at age 13. He helped him mom clean office buildings and discovered a damaged motivational poster that was thrown into the trash. He was drawn to the poster because of the silhouetted rider on a BMX bike. That bike reminded him of home. The words on the poster were Obstacles are Opportunities. He has live in America many years now and this piece is a celebration of the obstacles he has overcome. His favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11. Those words are written on the hat of the rider.

I wanted to play and try new things. I gave myself the freedom to use different mediums, make mistakes and create without expectation. Here is the result! I’m so proud of each one and the connection they have to my growth and creative process. Some of the papers and paintings I used were 30 years old! I just couldn’t throw these things away! These bits and pieces from the past were brought into the future, reframed and newly appreciated. I love the symbolism is this! Hope is Alive!
