It is well with my soul.
An Oklahoma sky and imagined rainbow fields surround this road home. My meditation for this piece was my beloved Oklahoma landscape and how I love the open roads and big skies of our great state. The completion of this piece comes at a time when I’m contemplating life and our brief time here. The rainbow fields are symbolic of God’s promise to make all things good as we return home to him.
A part of my Route 66 Series, this painting is acrylic on thick canvas size 16×20” and is framed in a contemporary textured grey floating frame.
